Have you ever thought "What if?" If you are a business owner or an aspiring business owner, this thought likely goes through your mind a lot. This was a question 2 friends asked themselves and answered "What if?" with "Let's do it." Meet Jeff and Danny owners of
Bedrock Coffee Roasters in Neenah, Wisconsin.
Danny and Jeff were in their prime of life and decided to make a difference and put their mark on the world. They both had a passion for coffee and enjoyed the process behind coffee roasting. They started out selling at local Farmer's Markets. The coffee was well received by customers, so after three years they decided it was time to open a storefront. As they grew, they were joined by their friend Jordan, and in April 2022 Danny went full-time at the store. By the end of 2022, they added the cafe.
Danny, Jeff, and Jordan have a wide range of backgrounds that make them a great team. Danny has a background in fixing musical instruments, Jeff has a background in IT and still works at that full-time, and Jordan still works full-time at GNC. They have successfully self-funded the business and have dedicated their time and talents to the business.
Bedrock Coffee Roasters added a second roaster in September that has four times the capacity of the original roaster. The extra capacity helps them to keep up with wholesale and retail orders. Festival Foods is one of the retailers that purchases their products.
The cafe offers brewed coffees, specialty drinks, teas, roasted coffee beans, and more.
Bedrock Coffee Roasters partners with
Thunder Bird Bakery in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and
Sweet Jules Bakes in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They love partnering with local businesses to expand their products.
Cornerstone Woodworking made the tables in the cafe, they are also located in Neenah, Wisconsin. These tables have Bedrock's custom logo inset into the table, they are a work of art!
Bedrock Coffee Roasters offers a wide range of coffee roasts in light, medium, dark, and espresso. Danny's favorite roast right now is the
Ethiopia Guji. I bought this while I was visiting and it is wonderful. I also had a salted caramel latté while I was there and Carter enjoyed a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was made at a lower temperature so he didn't have to wait for it to cool, this is one more reason why you need to check them out! They are also looking at expanding their facility so there will be many more exciting things for them in the future.
I hope you stop by and support this amazing business and see all the hard work they put into their coffee. Their hours are Monday through Saturday 7 am to 1 pm. They are located at 214 W. Cecil St, Neenah, WI 54956, and can be found online at bedrockcoffee.com.
