Do you love to support local businesses? Down Home on Main in Clintonville, Wisconsin is the perfect place to shop. You can support many small businesses while shopping here, there are currently 24 vendors within the store. 

While working full-time as a dental assistant, Amber started by making gifts for friends and family. Eventually, she had enough business to rent a space at The Blend in Shawano, Wisconsin. The business grew so much that in August 2023, Amber opened Down Home on Main, downtown Clintonville Wisconsin. 

Amber's husband Ryan built the shelving units, tables, and desks in the store. Ryan owns Youngs Timber Concepts and also has his handmade work for sale in the store.  Many of the goods within the store are Wisconsin-made goods including goods from Waupaca, Clintonville, Oshkosh, and more. 

One of the people who inspired and encouraged Amber to pursue her dream was Alex from The Blend in Shawano. Alex helped Amber get her start by selling her products in her store but also encouraged Amber when she recognized it was time to start a store of her own. 

Down Home on Main carries apparel, jewelry, soaps, custom woodwork, children's and baby clothing and so much more. You can also find Amber's products at Water Street Vintage where she is partnered with A New Lease. Down Home on Main is open Monday through Friday 9 am - 6 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 3 pm.

This store is a great example of what it means to be an entrepreneur. Amber does such an amazing job supporting local people and provides opportunities for others. Down Home on Main is a great place to shop, make sure to make it there for your next shopping trip!
